About Dr. Farrell
Dr. John Farrell is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health and Exercise Science. He has taught a variety of exercise science courses including Anatomy and Physiology, Nutrition and Metabolism, and Exercise Physiology.
Dr. Farrell’s expertise is in the field of chiropractic. He has extensive experience working in private practice as well as experience working in a multidisciplinary clinic. In addition, Dr. Farrell has previously worked with many professional and amateur athletes. He served as a team physician for the Red Bank Catholic High School football team and provided sports injury coverage to the Jersey Shore Basketball League. As an undergraduate, Dr. Farrell worked under the tutelage of Paul Uram, former strength and conditioning coach with the Pittsburgh Steelers, and gained valuable insight regarding flexibility programs designed to reduce the amount of soft tissue injuries suffered by Steelers players.
Prior to becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Farrell was an exercise physiologist for Cardio Fitness Systems in New York in their Park Avenue location.
