Taylor Swift, pizza, and Harry Potter are not only some of your favorite things — they're also the subjects of some of the coolest courses offered at college campuses. With classes from beekeeping to Beyoncé, the possibilities are endless. Gone are the days of schedules filled with English 101 and Psych 102! These universities are offering unique courses that let college students dig into the most interesting topics that might not be covered in classrooms or lecture halls anywhere else. So, study up, prep for those SATs, and check out these cool (and very real) college courses ahead. Who knows? Maybe you'll end up in one of them next year!

Taylor Swift: All Too Well (Ten Week Version)

Calling all Stanford Cardinals! Beginning the Winter Quarter 2023, first-year students at the acclaimed university will be able to take the "All Too Well (Ten Week Version)." If it sounds a bit familiar, that's because the course is named after Taylor Swift's "All Too Well" and will provide students with "an in-depth analysis" of the hit Taylor released in 2012. According to Standford University's website, the course is part of Stanford's ITALIC 99 courses, which "offers students an introduction to topics taught by alumni of the program.

Nicki's making her way from your Spotify account to your lecture notes, thanks to a new course at UC Berkeley. The class is set to have two 90-minute lectures per week all about the queen of rap. Nicki herself even acknowledged the college class on Twitter, where she said she'd "love to stop by." Per Entertainment Weekly, the professor teaching the course, Peace and Love El Henson, told Nicki she'd be "hella happy and honored" for the emcee to make a guest appearance.

Harry Styles and the Cult of Celebrity - Texas State University

If you’re headed to Texas State University this fall, listen up! Associate Professor of Digital History Louie Dean Valencia will be teaching “Harry Styles and the Cult of Celebrity” for the Spring 2023 semester and based off of the prof’s viral Tweet about the course, you might have to mark your calendars for registration day to secure a slot. Valencia says, “As an historian, I want the class to get to really see how the world has changed in the last 12 years or so, but also how to put that into historical context, through the lens of Harry Styles, and how they can learn from him and his art, activism and philosophy, like any great artist.” Sign us up!

Literary Contests and Contexts - The Taylor Swift Songbook - University of Texas at Austin

Ever wanted extra credit for being a Swiftie? Well, the English department at the University of Texas at Austin is offering an "introduction to literary studies and research methods" with Taylor Swift's songwriting for the fall 2022 semester. According to the department's Facebook post, English professor Elizabeth Scala, who goes by @swiftieprof on Instagram, will be teaching the course to undergraduate students at UT-Austin's Liberal Arts Honors program.

The Evolution of Taylor Swift - New York University

Speaking of Taylor, NYU's Clive Davis Institute offered a class all about her for the spring 2022 semester. Taught by Rolling Stone's Brittany Spanos, this class dove into Taylor Swift's successful career from various perspectives, including her evolution as a creative music entrepreneur, her transition from country to pop, and how youth and girlhood influenced her success and the politics of race in contemporary popular music. Taylor was invited to speak to the class, but couldn't make it. A rep for the course also told Variety that the class had a long waitlist.

Now Pizza can not only be your fave food, but also your fave class! Manchester Metropolitan University recently announced a partnership with Pizza Hut to offer an apprenticeship program that will focus on skills related to financial analysis and food production, with some students studying at the university and others studying at Pizza Hut locations. The program will be open to 1,500 students over the course of five years, so now when you say you majored in pizza, you can actually mean it!

Game of Thrones - University of Virginia

If you already stay up binge-watching Game of Thrones, you can now turn your obsession into college credit! The University of Virginia offers a four-week seminar that studies both the original book series and the hit HBO show. The University of British Columbia in Canada also added a course called "Our Modern Medieval: The Song of Ice and Fire as Contemporary Medievalism" that focuses on "the role of the medieval in the popular consciousness of the late 20th and early 21st centuries."

If you've always dreamed of studying the art of SEVENTEEN's choreography skills or how BTS' Jimin always looks that good, then this may be the class for you. Skidmore College is taking the First Year Experience to new heights with their K-Pop approach to the traditional Scribner Seminar. Taught by anthropology professor Joowon Park, the class uses the K-Pop phenomenon to help students "explore interdisciplinary ideas, challenge their assumptions about the world and help them acclimate to the rigors of academic life at Skidmore." Honestly, I'll sign up for anything that has to do with BLACKPINK.

Georgia State University's English department offers a class about all things Kanye West. In the class, you'll learn about Yeezy's path to fame, and what it means about African American art and politics. You'll examine his lyrics and read lots of interviews to figure out what makes him tick, and how his work fits in the context of race, gender, and class. "We're in the business of solving problems, and Kanye West is an incredible puzzle," professor Scott Heath told Fader.

Queen Bees, Wannabes, and Mean Girls - Colorado College

You already know basically every line of Mean Girls by heart (since you've been avoiding homework by binge-watching watching it on repeat ever since it came back to Netflix), but now you could count (re)watching Mean Girls as your actual homework because there's an entire course at Colorado College dedicated to it. The class is focused on understanding how and why certain girls become Regina George types and how far they'll go to maintain their queen bee status using Mean Girls as a case study. In 2015, U Penn offered a class called "Wasting Time On The Internet," and it wasn't just an elective — it actually filled some requirements for English majors! For the class, students were required to "stare at the screen for three hours, only interacting through chat rooms, bots, social media and listservs..." according to the course description. Oh, and "Distraction, multi-tasking, and aimless drifting is mandatory." This totally seems like a class we're all prepared to ace!

The Hunger Games: Class, Politics and Marketing - American University

There's more to Katniss Everdeen than her badass hunting skills and on-fire fashion. This cultural history class at American University in Washington, D.C. breaks down the politics of The Hunger Games trilogy, tackling topics like whether Katniss is a feminist and the poverty and oppression of some of the districts. Students also learn why teens and adults alike are so obsessed with the series. Oh, and the course includes guest speakers, so who knows—maybe J.Law will stop by at some point (fingers crossed)?!

There are no age restrictions when it comes to this class, so you can become a beekeeping apprentice even if you aren't in college. The course is self-paced and covers topics like honey bee biology, equipment, and hive management. This truly is the bee's knees if you're into it.
